I only use walkthroughs when games start wasting my time too much.
In the case of Zelda i won't resort to it unless i'm completely stuck on what to do.
I did recently use one for Catherine though. That game is sadistic and really not worth the effort of wasting hours upen hours dieing and trying again. I would argue no game is.
