MGS4 is the last chapter in the story there you have your answer.

And dont spoil anything for me i am still playing MGS5 and have a blast with the gameplay alone so far and story is intrresting as well. It doesnt matter how the story will end, snake can turn into a tomato at the end and wouldnt change my opnion that this is the best MGS game gameplay-wise.

This exactley what i wanted a military game to be in all the years, its pure tactical and information warfare with openworld/rpg construction. I like it more than the last of us so far.

You just can't chastize people for not understanding the story, then claim afterwards that you don't care about how the story ends (which makes me think you don't care about the story itself) and focus entirely on defending the gameplay. It renders your argument useless.

Second of all, I don't care if MGS4 is the last chapter in the story. That's another poor argument. Let's say Kojima had removed the story in MGS3, you wouldn't go and defend it by saying "MGS1 told us what happened to him" right? There's a reason why MGS3 has a story, and most people consider it to be the best (plot) in the series.

If you like it more, that's fine. You don't need to argue why do you like it more, you just do. But if you are criticising the other two games and praising Metal Gear to add depth to your opinion, try not to tread your own arguments.
