Seeing the manager (although I expect nothing but being a dick from him) and even pundits defend Costa over this weekend has been rather distasteful as a football fan. You don't hit people, you don't 'friendly' slap them in front of the ref, you don't knock them down. I hope the FA do something because his level of respect was non-existent.

Saints did okay today, I would say we lost the game, not that Man U won it. De Gea saved them, 2 great saves where other keepers might not have got. And Saints are fine, 3 draws away and we lost so far at home this season to Everton and Man U. Sure would have been nice to win but we lost to Man U at home last season, we won away.

EDIT: Mark Chapman (BBC presenter) asked earlier and now on MOTD2 is if the pundits would like it if Costa was part of their team, making out like they would happily have him at a certain team just because he's who he is. I wouldn't, there are more prolific goalscorers than Costa in the world that fit that role just as well, with people like Hazard and Fabragas behind them, those players would score as many if not more. He's just an very old looking 26 yr old.

Hmm, pie.
