I think it was said it wasnt sociable, which seems to be a key feature in nintendo design philosophy.
Im a totally for VR gameing, I think its the next big thing.
Lets just say 2D or 2.5D plat formers have nothing to gain from VR, and that Local co-op mode isnt a strength of VR.
Thats why nintendo dont care about it, they will still be missing out though, because its well suited for so many other game types.
