Oh, this post again. Please. In comparison to Sony?
- Geurilla Cambridge: Only releases PSN games/Vita games. Now only working on a morpheus game. you said it, they are making a PS4 Morphues game, how that is a bad thing i dont know, since it looks great.
- London Studio: See Guerilla Cambridge. Working on a full title Morphues game as well, called London Hiest.
- Northwest Studio: See London Studio. Was just founded to create VR games. how does this help with your point that sony doesnt initiate new first party games and devs for their console?
- Media Molecule: Moved to Vita/Move development only. LBP3 metas 73% and bombed. starting to look really foolish here. they are releasing tearaway unfolded for PS4 this september, and announced Dreams for PS4 coming out next year. you do realize they didnt develop LBP3 as well, right? of course you dont.
- PixelOPUS: Levy same critique as directed to Twisted Pixel/Press Play.
- Japan Studio - Makes PSN/Vita games only, except for Team Ico who's haven't released a title in a decade. The studio head wants out. They Made Puppeteer for PS3 and released 2013, with rain releasing on PS3 the same year. Made Knack for PS4, co-developed Bloodborne, and Developing The Last Guardian, so not only are they releasing multiple games for handheld but they are also developing for console.
- Polyphony Digital: GT6 3M sales. nuff said. Series sold 73 million, nuff said.
- Naughty Dog: Works on endless Uncharted games. looking extremely foolish now, considering their last game was a new IP and considered one of the best, if not the best, game of all time. in case you dont remember, its called The Last of Us.
- Bend Studio: Downgraded from releasing console games to portable only. Not allowed to make new IP. Confirmed to be working on a new IP for PS4. lol...
- Sony San Diego: Works on endless MLB games. Making a new PS4 game called killstrain... its already announced... lol...
- Sony Santa Monica: Shut down team making new IP and fired all employees, works on endless god of war games, the last one was a real stinker. so an 80 meta score is a "real stinker now?" and how does the first point help your overall argument? they were allowed to make a new IP and have two teams, it didnt work out, not all projects work out, how does sony limit their creativity if they allowed them to try make a new IP? you are making zero sense.
- Geurilla Games: Works on endless Killzone games, the last one was a real stinker. my my is somebody looking really bad now. Check out a game called Horizon: Zero Dawn. then check how many E3 awards it won.
- Evolution Studios: Released new IP which stunk , studio gutted. Only releases DLC for a bad game now. DriveClub sold 2 million Units, reactions after all the free DLC and Extra content certainly doesnt say that it "stunk".
- Suckerpunch: Released lowest rated inFamous, then studio gutted, lost 40% of staff. i see you are resorting to making stuff up now. 40% of its staff laid off? lol. you do realize they are making a new PS4 game, and its already in playable state, confirmed by yoshida himself? lol.
- SCE Liverpool: Shut down after phenomally bad output.
- Zipper Interactive: Shut down after phenomally bad output
- Incognito Entertainment: Shut down after phenomally bad output
- BigBig Studios: Shut down after phenomally bad output
- Sony Online Entertainment: Shut down, all IP's sold off, going multiplatform under a new owner
- And for the grand fromage, Sony did spend $380 million on Gakai which is a significant game related investment, and so far's biggest contribution is to port most Playstation exclusives to tablets and streaming devices. So Sony providing a streaming service for their games on PS4, PS3, PS Vita, TV's and PSTV is a bad thing now? lol. i guess they should offer less services.
Who would have thought that in 2015 Gears of War 2, PGR3 and Forza 4 would still be exclusive to Xbox 360, but you can play The Last of Us, Uncharted, god of war, infamous, killzone and ratchet and clank on any Android 4. or equivilent.
In 2017, do you know where your PS4 exclusives are going to be? Still fully playable on PS4 and not on xbox?
No one claims MS first party has a perfect history, but they're certainly no less mis-managed than Sony Computer entertainment.
