Ok, so they're relying on indie's to fix the problem? That's exactly where the line faulters. Most people don't want games like "fat princess" to be one of the biggest exclusives on the PS4 this holiday season. These games "may" be good, but no one is going to care. People want great games, like bloodborne. If Sony had two games that where as good as bloodborne for the holiday season, it would be a win. But since they don't, well...

Yes, I do actually. They're called third parties. Which by the way is what Sony is beting on. Also, look at this quote from sony:
"Our first party lineup is a little sparse this year, so I think this places even greater emphasis on getting good third party support"
There you go, THIRD PARTY SUPPORT! They want companies like EA and Activision to make games for them. Which I can get on the Xbox to, so yeah I'm not that sad.
