Now by saying that i am not in any way saying that ps4 is stronger than the strongest pcs but the ps4 exclusives arent avaible on pc and therefor the ps4 has the best looking games who would probably run better on pc with higher frame-rate etc, but of course there are not avaible on pc in the first place.
And yes people buy new consoles to have better graphics in the first years thats how its always has been, if gameplay is more important for you then its better to stick to last gen as it has tons of good games still left who come out or good games you and me havent even played yet.

Nope this is just wrong. I just sold my PS4 and built a gaming machine that only cost me $800. I'm running my games only at 1080p and Crysis 3 was unreal it looked amazing. Even my GF who was pissed that I sold the PS4 couldn't believe how much better it looked. She said she knew it would look better but this was above and beyond anything she expected.
Now imagine the guys who are running there games at 4k? They are on a completely different level then even I am.

you can't compare highend pcs to consoles its like comparing the performance of a middle class car to an exotic race car. the one is build for the masses and the other for wealthy car enthusiasts. I am pretty sure if you compare the performance of an pc build owned by an average pc user it will be pretty close to ps4 and xbox one performance.
and what did you expect from a machine that costs twice as much and a game that is made for those high end pc builds ?
imagine what those pc builds must cost to run crisis 3 in 4k ...
the graphics card setup will probably cost you more than your whole build.
