I'll just buy which ever one is cheaper.... if Nintendo or Microsoft having a good digital sales... I'm all for it.

Currently, Retail game are much cheaper and get discount sooner then digital. I would much rather pay less and have the game digitally. I hate going to the trouble of reselling my games and also buying a retail disc just to have to sit there 2 hours waiting for the game to install is retarded, what's the point of getting a disc.

The gaming industry is still govern by retail pressure, the push for digital is limited by the importance of retail (Selling hardware), Access to High speed internet and download limits set by internet providers in some region.

Last generation introduce digital sales, this generation will be defined by slow but steady switch from retail to digital. You can already the switch with all the digital only game. Sony embracing indie games now has most of it's PS4 library digital only. Service like PSnow & EA Access are also changing the industry to digital.
