Well, the only Bethesda game that was likely at all would have been Dishonored. And that would again have been late on Wii U.
If third parties at all had been successful they would probably have ported Evil Within and Wolfenstein. But with every other big publisher failing that already was pointless.

There where plenty of other weird publisher decisions though. Mass Effect 3 was one of them. Coming alongside the trilogy, being more expensive than the complete trilogy.
Or Square Enix. Deus Ex Human Revolution DC as an exclusive instead of porting Tomb Raider was already a weird decision, Making it multiplat likely didn't help.
So yes, publishers showed questionable support.

The die hard Nintendo audience with it's Nintendo consoles for Nintendo games attitude doesn't make it any better.
That was totally different in the mid nineties. Those are the major part of early adopters. Early adopters for Playstation and Xbox buy games from everyone. Even a Tomb Raider port they've bought a year before already.

And Nintendo really doesn't show the same support to publishers. It actually often seems like they don't care at all.
