FAI? I immediately thought "DAI"...
But my meaning is not so blunt; Xeno merely did quality better last time around but seems to be getting more hype out of being compared to FF than most lesser-known IPs for Nintendo tend to get these days, despite their regular and immense quality.
Rivalry between franchises often helps games do better.
