There is a National Geographic episode on DNA mapping across the globe you should watch.

There are genetic differences, but they're minor. The biggest differences are the visual ones. Our skin color, noses, ears, eyes, height, etc.

Our (humanities) understanding of the dispersion of homo sapiens out of Africa has changed since that episode, but the basic findings are still representatively true today. That is, we all come from Africa, however various migrations into Asia account for a large proportion of diversity.

It's extremely fascinating stuff.

More recent discoveries have to do with the hybrid genetic material that resulted from the mating between Neanderthal and Sapiens (modern humans).

To offer a perspective on how little differences there are between races of human beings, humans and chimpanzees have something like 96% the same DNA.
