I just read up on this case today and IMO its ridiculous this cop is getting NO time for this. He preformed an illegal choke hold on a man that wasn't even adamantly resisting arrest and as a result killed him. All of this just because the cops suspected Garner of selling second hand cigarettes... REALLY!?
Usually I can see both sides of the arguments in these type of cases, but its so blatantly obvious the cops actions directly resulted in killing Garner that I really cant see how you can defend the cops actions in this case.
