Not sure why the hate. I might cosider a PS3 if it had decent pointer controls. If the PS3 is to last 10 years, better to add the control in the first 2 years and let the rest of the sales be great, instead of having mediocre sales the entire generation.
By reading these responses, you would think they announced discontinuing supporting the current cotrolls.
Anyways, it's all just a rumor... I put it at 15% likely at best...
