So it being free is why an 8th gen console cant maintain 60fps in a 5 year old 720p game, with no AA, DoF or texture filtering. Gotcha.

Yeah, its called weak hardware. It only took 4A 6 months (4 on the XBox One) to get get Metro 2033 AND Last Light Redux to be a solid 60fps at 1080p and 900p with significant graphical improvements. Platinum had one SKU, one 5 year old game and zero graphical imrovements. How much "effort" needs to be poured into the Wii U for it to get respectable results? Again, logic and reasoning doesn't come into play when you bury your head in the sand and defend nintendo.
