Not surprised as common sense which sadly isn't so common would have alarm bells ringing, Salmond was basically building an entire stance on people disliking the Tories and Nationalism while not actually giving any idea of how Scotland will deal with other pressing issues like the infrastruture if yes was voted.
All the Banks were going to relocate into England, all the money they hold would be relocated as well, a number of businesses would have relocated as well, the oil companies were stating that the oil belongs to the company and not any government and that they shouldn't bank on solely relying on it, any business done from Scotland would now face a number of taxes, Scots would be subject to immigration laws and it doesn't help that a lot of the higher education venues are located in England etc...
Too many unknowns.
