I knew this would be an entertaining read once I saw the title and then read the OP.

Like clockwork, all of the "Sony can't lose" group jumped on this mostly Crazy OP and told him he was a fool for even thinking it. Others just said NO. An then the others stated that "it's impossible".

Clearly, peoples memories are short. The 360 was sitting at a similar position after 1 year on the market. Oddly, they were at the same spot 1 year later, and then again 1 year after that. Most people presumed that at that point, M$ couldn't really lose. A few short months later, a slim and a price cut had changed things. After that, it was a slow road, but the PS3 eventually caught the 360 and by most opinions has taken the lead.

So, what's my point? Point is, it's not over until it is over.

I agree, the odds are VERY small that M$ can even slow down the gap from growing let alone gain an actual console lead.

The main reason PS3 made a comeback in sales was because of Europe & Japan. Microsoft doesn't have Europe & Japan to fall back on like Sony does at all, nor is it guaranteed that Xbox One will receive the same 47+ million owners in the U.S. like with Xbox 360.

Xbox One is no PS3, nor is the Xbox brand that strong over the Playstation brand.
