One of the biggest announcements out of Microsoft’s E3 conference this year was the reveal of Halo: The Master Chief Collection. The remastered package includes Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 2: Anniversary, Halo 3 and Halo 4 and will be  available exclusively on the Xbox One. At least, that’s what we were told. It’s no secret that the PC community has been trying to get Microsoft’s attention to bring back the franchise to PC (the first two titles were available on PC), but their demands have seemingly gone unnoticed.

Now Amazon.es has listed the overhauled compilation for PC. You can see the platform included in the screenshot below of the product listing, which has since been edited. While this could have very well been a mistake, especially since 343 Studios has stated that their focus is on the Xbox One, it is hard not to get one’s hopes up.

If we’re speaking in favor of the rumor, SteamDB  has revealed the existence of Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2 and Halo 3 in Steam’s database. Furthermore, all of these applications were updated a mere three months ago, which shows us that they’re still active to some extent. Hidden Steam groups for the aforementioned titles have even been uncovered, further boosting theories circling the net.

Let’s not forget that Amazon UK recently outed  the existence of Tekken 7 on PC before its official reveal. That’s not to say that the two share any correlation, but it does show that these mistakes sometimes turn out to be real. We will be sure to update you with any new information as it becomes available.
