It would be more accurate for him to say the PS4 has never fallen below 100k because of a lack of demand :p The only week it has ever happened was the result of hardcore supply shortages (and the region specific launch of course).
You know you haven't produced enough units when your US supply is almost entirely exhausted in 24 hours
