This is not aimed at Japan though. This is aimed at western Final Fantasy fans and they choose platforms based on popularity. Vita and handhelds in general are below the popularity of consoles. The amount of entitled whining is shocking. SE is being portrayed as these guys plotting against Vita and its just not case. The "Vita fan" moniker has to go because Vita fans, are psp fans, who are ps console fans, who are the brunt of of FF fans, who are definitely ps3 owners, who probably own ps4, and if they dont... They WILL. I can understand if this was exclusive to wii u, pc, or xb1, but it is not. You are not being forced to buy anything you dont already own or will own. Type 0 is for FF fans not console specific fans.
I just think that the real issue here is that everybody thought Vita finally got something that would boost its popularity but reality happened... Knda like the MH3, DMC4, and ff13 multi plat fiasco.
