Still better examples than any of the games you cited, especially Journey.

And it seems you really consider Destiny to be already Free to Play.

I'd like to take you seriously but it's not easy.

You were clearly just fucking with me this whole time.

I concede that I fell for it. gg

You consider that Destiny is already Free to Play and has no crafting, no resource gathering and no travelling.

How come you have to buy the game, and then gather resources travelling in the exploration mode ?

Also - the resource gathering part is hinting at crafting :

...what are you talking about with this free to play bullshit? What does this have to do with your point, because you certainly seem to be acting like a pig in shit over the fact that it's online.

Crafting in destiny is not real crafting. Crafting in ANY MMORPG, especially the ones you named Warhammer, Star Wars, etc requires you having a gathering skill (which levels), going out into the world. Gathering actual materials from the ground and then using or selling them to make other items. The gathering and crafting systems in those games is incredibly robust. Even Skyrim's gathering and crafting is nowhere near those MMOs. The gathering and crafting in Destiny is just looting bodies and upgrading your weapons with dropped items. That would be like saying using a mushroom from your inventory in mario 3 is crafting and resource gathering.

Traveling in ANY MMORPG involves long periods of in game travel, going along a road on horseback, or whathaveyou. I have literally spent an hour in WoW JUST TRAVELING. Now, when traveling from continent to continent in WoW, it takes less than a minute because it's just a loading screen as opposed to actual distance being traveled. This is how Destiny treats travel, as just a loading screen and nothing more. There is no in game traveling.
