Honor. Something most big American corporations lost the understanding of. When companies are falling in America all you hear is about CEO's getting bonuses ever since the economic collapse. Kudos to Iwata and Hirai for both respectively taking pay cuts when their companies went through financial turmoil.

In fairness, Pandit didn’t receive a bonus in cash or stock last year, and he worked for a relatively pedestrian $125,001 salary for 2009. In February of that year, he agreed to work for $1 a year, and he pledge to take the salary until Citigroup was profitable again. The bank this week posted $10.6 billion in net income for 2010.
