I've thought about just making a gaming room altogether. I already have a used SNES and Genesis tucked away. And of course a 360 and soon a One. I have a 13" color CRT that would be perfect for a little retro gaming (though I guess if I did this I might want something bigger)

The idea would be to make one room a video game room. Have one huge TV, great sound system for the current systems. Have some sort of retro setup too on the side. Maybe beanbags, all that type of thing. Maybe even a projector for REALLY big screen gaming. Then buy all the old systems, it would be nice to own every major past system, etc.

In theory. In reality I'd only play the SNES/Genesis/NES and 360+ generations. I have no interested in PS1 or PS2. Those games are hideous and no fun. OTOH colorful 2D SNES/Genesis stuff is the retro stuff I love.

In the end though it's too expensive, I'm not into actually playing games enough, etc etc. Maybe if I get rich oneday. Also, I only have a 2 bedroom, and 1 obviously I sleep in. So that limits my options should I get a roommate etc.
