Thats not it at all. Thats just positive spin from the makers. 

Its a bad sign, the parts are scarce and are not mass makrket any more, this is bad news for development of the device at a decent price.

I have said it before and I'll say it again.  Doomed.

Either that, or they just became an easy aquisition target for Sony/MSoft/Samsung/Google, ect.  They've lost all leverage with this annoucement and now have no reason to keep on without changing their entire target market.
