Helped by the launch in Japan, PS4 is now #1 of the 8th gen consoles, after only 3 months on the market. How do you feel about this?

Of course you're happy! We're all happy! And since we're all very very happy, let us celebrate together. We can do it here in this very thread, or you can do it alone at home, with friends, with your consoles or however you like!

In case you're not happy (Why wouldn't you? We're all happy!), put on a fake smile, move your hands up and down a bit, maybe swing your body in tune with a random R&B song and pretend you're very, very happy like the rest of us.

Let us be happy together that PS4 has been crowned King

Do you even understand how monarchie works?
The PS4 has been declared successor to the throne. Since every country has its own King the PS4 is successor to the throne of Sonyland and as long as the PS3 is not dead PS4 cannot be King of Sonyland.

Actually the PS2 is still somewhat alive so PS2 is King but its dying. When PS2 is dead PS3 will be King then PS4 etc.

Lets assume every first born becomes a home console and every second born a handheld then...
...the PSP is the little brother of the PS2
and the PSVita is the little brother of the PS3

PSP and PSVita will only inherit the throne when PS2 PS3 PS4 and PS5 "die" for whatever reason and PS5 never had the chance to make a PS6.

It basically goes like this:

  (R.I.P)

(King/Queen)
             (1)

           (2)
          (3)
(right now the PS5 console is fat and loud hopefully it will be silent and sleak when it is "completed")

When all of the above disappear then it goes like this:
   (4)
(5)

Monarchie is always a direct line. If the PS2 never had the PS3 baby then the PSP would be king after PS2

I hope I could clarify.

P.S.
As a citizen of Sonyland you should be ashamed of not knowing how your monarchie works.....
