This thread = why Europeans hate 'Murica

Only in your backwards ass country would widespread discrimination be justified in terms of 'freedom' and 'rights'. Religions and religious people do not deserve special treatment any more than the crazy people who believe in alien abductions or the Loch Ness monster.

Sorry to break it to you; but if you believe in a god, you are retarded. I mean, seriously? A magic man in the sky? Grow up.

Teaching a child to believe in a god is abuse. Yes; I am saying that if your parents took you to church (or a mosque/temple/synagogue) then they abused you.

The world is changing, people outside of your small town bigotville understand that people are different, and that to judge and discriminate against people is wrong. Everyone here arguing in favour of 'liberty' are literally trying to use a buzz word in order to disguise the fact that they are bigoted hate mongers.

As a European it's actually embarrassing. It's like seeing your child fail the entrance exam to a special school.

But to any Christians reading this and getting angry at having to pull out their dictionary; WWJD?

Forgive me.

I Agree with this, kid should never be forced to learn religion, this should be a choice at 16y or later.

I learned the bible for over 3 years, and i don't see how they  can trust this, so many error, forged, and go on.

But i don't say there is no god, the probability is just very very low to me.

My girlfriend have a son who is homosexual, she trust in god, and have no problem with this or me who not trust in god, you just need to learn how to tolerate thing around you, and not make this personal.

Note didn't read who you were responding to but will take what you said as face value.

"I Agree with this, kid should never be forced to learn religion, this should be a choice at 16y or later."

Funny how you said we shouldn't force religion(don't even know what you mean by that) on your own children. Basically, you are saying we shouldn't let parents teach there children something you deem relevant. Hello, Stalin nation!

Christianity for many people and the advancement western morality was based on the bible. Anyone who disagrees is ignorant of history of ethics of western world.

"I learned the bible for over 3 years, and i don't see how they  can trust this, so many error, forged, and go on"

No offense but did you read the bible with scholarly help or just as fundamentalist(reading with no understanding of the world at that time). Something tells me the latter. Many of those errors come from people reading the bible like a simplistic child. What I mean by that is doing no research or critical thinking. Forged argument is based on no facts because we have scholars that can tell you who are atheist and christian that the bible we have today is 99% accurate to original text.We have hundreds of manuscripts. I can already tell you have no clue on what your talking about professionally and only riding slogan you heard. Next your going to tell me Jesus never existed.

But i don't say there is no god, the probability is just very very low to me."

You are entitled to your unfounded assertions based on nothing.

"My girlfriend have a son who is homosexual, she trust in god, and have no problem with this or me who not trust in god, you just need to learn how to tolerate thing around you, and not make this personal."

What argument is this? So, if I accepted my brother was into incest does that mean you will tolerate it? No. People have different standards for things and it seems you really have none if you think that's a vaild argument. I could use that same argument to justify any action.

Second, you contradicted yourself when you talk about tolerance when you said earlier you wanted others to be forced to what you believe. Remember "parents shouldn't teach them them religion until 16 years old." That sounded real tolerant of religious people. Some would say that sounded very 'bigot' like. Tell people have to take care of there own children and what morality they want to teach them. Sounds like you just want to control anyone who isn't atheist. What if I said the same that parents shouldn't teach there children to be atheist because I personally feel it's dangarous? I would be called a bigot.

Third of all you give no reason why your own standards are better than Christianity. You just assert that it's worst. Tell me why on atheism morality isn't just something that is completely subjective. If it is subjective than why are you upset since everything relative. It's real easy to give critism towards Christianity standards when you have none.

Sorry for double post you can merge the two mods.
