If you played PIkmin 3 you'd know that the game is best Played with the WiiMote AND the gamepad. The gamepad is a second screen I plut the gamepad under my TV and play it like DS. Pick up the screen when I gotta see interact with something |
Oh, I know. I always used the Gamepad for playing Pikmin 3 (finished it without a single casualty, BTW), and like I mentioned before I'll never play WWHD without it. I'm not trying to dissuade people from seeing how it can enhance games.
What I'm talking about is software built around the idea of the Gamepad exclusively; something akin to Nintendoland but better - and a lot more of it. Unlike the Wii, Nintendo just hasn't given us those things on WiiU that make you realize why they designed their console around this dynamic in the first place and that is worrying; particularly when it drives up the price of the console as a mandatory inclusion.
