True, but I guess they have to laugh at something. Especially with how things are going with One currently
Like I said in a comment, it would be funny if it were true. Probably went a little overboard with the sales part of it, but I was feeling extra saucy at that moment in time.
Anyway, Sony exclusives sell just as well as MS's. The only problem is that Xbox fans seem to like to compare EVERY exclusive with either Halo or GeOW, as if ALL MS's exclusives sell that well. GT is like Sony's Halo. UC is like Sony's GeOW. GOW is like Sony's Fable. Last of Us, a new IP, outsold every Forza but 3, and could become a new 4M+ franchise. Heavy Rain outsold Alan Wake by ~2x. Then, you have smaller franchises (something MS definitely lacks), like Infamous and R&C, that sell 1M+/2M+ every time. Then, we have all those new IPs Sony is developing for the PS4 that may become larger franchises, as well.

you forgot to list which Sony games can be compared to Kinect Sports (8 million with 2 games), Dance Central (about 6 million with 3 games). So Xbox fans only compare EVERY game to Halo? Let's compare the 20 best selling exclusives then!

I know, this might sound ridiculous to you, but MAYBE the argument is... valid?

lol...that list also sums up the diversity of the games on each platform.

DAMN! He has a valid argument... let's move the goalposts then!
Actually, you are wrong. MS has more HUGE franchises that just dominate the charts and they are able to sell them frequently while Sony fails to build a massive franchise and monetise it. They did it right with Uncharted for example. If there were more Uncharted games available than the 3 SKUs out there, they would have oust another game from these charts and sold more software overall.
Somehow Sony is good at creating a new IP, but sucks to build something with it. At least for this gen.
Look how sales dropped for the sequels to these games on top of these charts.
Gran Turismo 5 (11 million) to GT6 (1.8 million) --> only 16% of its predecessor!
InFamous (2.72 million) to InFamous 2 (1.64) --> 60% of its predecessor
LBP (5.4 million) to LBP2 (3.08 million) --> 57% of its predecessor
And I am not using massively bundled games like Motorstorm or Resistance. But there is a reason why Sony killed these franchises.
