I like kitler's idea where we alternate months to guarantee that each fan base gets a few chances every year.

Something along these lines:

a nintendo game kicks off in: january, april, july, october.

a sony game kicks off in: feburary, may, august, november.

a ms game kicks off in: march, june, september, december
