I believe that Nintendo, unlike many people think, isn´t really trying to compete with Sony and MS. That´s why they didn´t bother launchin SM3D World (and Zelda ALBW, Mario Party Island Tour) on the same week of Xbox1 launch

But they did. And they released SM3DW in europe the same day as the ps4 launch. Maybe your phrasing of the sentence means the opposite of what it reads.

Sony, MS and Nintendo are in the gaming industry so rather you want it or not they are in competion. I agree that to a certain extent they offer a different gaming experience.

Whatever way you spin it, at the end of the day they are all after people's money. Someone that just got paid with money to spend on one console on this day now have a choice. A true life scenario:

"I wanted to get the wii u and SM3DW but the whole hype around the PS4 today made it seem a better buy so I got that for my son instead".

Not the exact words used but the point remains the same.

Sorry, English is not my first language. I wanted to mean that they are not worried about launching their games on the same week of Xbox1 launch.

Of course they´re in the same market, but what I said is not what I want, is what Nintendo has been stating and declaring for a long time. They, at least verbally, do not aim at Sony and MS consumers. Even if they share the same aisles on shops. If they know their business well, they must know that it doesnt matter what they do, those people won´t buy their products.

There´s a reason why they´re focusing on casual and family gaming:  they don´t see all videogame consumers in a single basket. Me neither.
