In the end, Wii will be so succesfull that all this won't be important...

Let's say 1/3 of Wii owners are avid gamers who buy 10 games a year... another 1/3 are occasionnal gamers and kids who buy/receive 2 or 3 games a year... and the last 1/3, non-gamers who'll never buy anything else than Wii Sports...

In such a case (highly improbable, but let's say that's the way it is), if Wii has a 20 million userbase, it could be a problem, indeed...

But if Wii has a 50 million userbase? The "problem" is already gone...

And if Wii has a 80 million userbase? Nobody will think the way of the original post anymore, Wii games will always find their audience, sales will be good enough, at least for the good games out there...

And of course, right now, 3rd parties already sell more software on Wii than on PS3... don't believe me? Just take a look at the numbers in this thread...

So ok, Wii may scare some 3rd parties... but what about PS3 then? Do you think that with higher costs and less sales, the PS3 offers good business opportunities?

I don't think so... but it's ALWAYS about the "Wii and 3rd parties problem" anyway... maybe it's a good time to stop that kind of argument, don't you think?
