They're getting better. It's less bland than their other commercials of late that just show people playing, this demonstrates the games while making a case for purchasing the hardware (and hammering home the point that it's an upgrade).
Oddly, the Link Between Worlds commercial currently running on American television is what i would call perfect, the right combination of "hook" and "product demonstration." Their Pikmin 3 commercial wasn't bad either.
