It all depends on how well kinect works, and considering how serious they went with this, sacrificing at least early sales in an otherwise easy to win gen, their commitment is a good indicator of how good effect they believe Kinect will have.
Also, they did really well with all the software budget transfer from X360 to X1 making it the best launch line up ever seen, this way nobody can question their commitment towards hardcore gamers either.
Too bad they really messed up their message initially. Things seem to be getting back to normal now and 2014 could be X1's.
