I guess powering kinect 24/7 listening for "xbox on" is going to require alot more stand by power than a regular console.
Guessing that's why Sony went with the extremely low power arm chip for there stand by features.
Im not saying one uses less power than the other because i don't know which does, Just interesting to see how they've taken different approaches to get the standby features that they wanted.
Statment does seem like an attempt to spread FUD tho, when im sure he knows the PS4 doesnt use the main system hardware in standby because it has an arm chip, which sony stated back in February it worked that way.
