Perception of reality is done through the senses, most of it through the eyes.
I am convinced that when oculusRift will come out, there'll be games that implement it where the immersion will be incredible. I think that actually this will quickly become a dangerous technology. VR addiction will be much worse than simple game addiction.
I'm still excited about it.
