That's a lot of words. You could probably just condense it down to, "I drink Nintendo's Koolaid." Honestly, they're just a video-game company, doing what they can to make a profit. They have no holy mission, no mythical quest to save the gaming word. They screw up as much as anyone else in their endeavor to climb to the top.

Also, I'm still not sure why people use the word Revolution with the Wii. There was no revolution. A revolution would mean that everything is different from that period forward--and it's not. It was a massive blip on the screen but then it went off the other side. Could peripheral-aided motion controlled gaming have taken over if Nintendo stuck with it? I doubt it, but it doesn't really matter, because we'll never know. They went back to a controller and the "revolution" died with a whimper.
