Companies go after timed exclusive, because it works. Titanfall on PS4 in spring 2015 won't make a difference for example.

You see, PS4 doesn't need those games but some PS4 owners might want them.

Meanwhile, I'll just get most of them on PC since I'm hardcore like that.

It gives them something to brag about on list-wars for exclusives. That is all.
