Regardless of everything else, Injustice: Gods Among Us doing well is probably a good sign. Publishers will be watching every multi-platform title on the Wii U closely. The better they do, the more likely it is that the Wii U will get simultaneous versions, especially in the same genre.

As for the rest, Trine 2 performing well is very, very interesting. I'm not sure if it means that the current Wii U user-base is interested in indie games, or if they're very loyal and want to reward the developers of Trine 2 for saying so many good things about the system. Perhaps a bit of both. Or maybe it's just that it's a good game on a console that doesn't have many good games.

I do have this feeling, though, that many Nintendo fans will buy a Nintendo exclusive from a third-party publisher before they'd buy a multi-platform game. Why, I'm not sure.
