Money is often limited, and so is time. One or two consoles are more than enough for many hardcore gamers.

@Talal and Pezus:  I might have said it wrong. A hardcore gamer plays all games he can. I've only owned a 360 the seventh gen, but I've played almost every single exclusive out there, from Wii and Ps3 too.
