What you fail to understand here, Peh-Zeus, is that Wii U is dead in the water. Nothing, not even a price cut will save it against the god-like status of The PS4.
Now, onto big man talk. Do I think Nintendo will drop the price? Um, yes. Before the PS4 Launch? I hope not. I'm pretty sure they aren't making money on the current price, so an even cheaper price will put them even further down the hole. And no one wants that except for the devil himself.
Right now what they need is a new marketing push and bundles with the already announced games that are releasing this year. This will last until Nintendo starts to make at least a penny off the console. (Then, and only then, should they drop the price.)
