Just a copy paste of my com in other site because i'm lazy - I would edit the comment to accommodate it to this site (where everyone basically knows this) but nah..
-Metroid is niche, a Metroid game will come don’t worry but at the right time, doesn’t matter how much of a fan you are, metroid can’t move hardware, it is a niche series that appeals to a very small (believe it or not) part of nintendo’s fan base so no, no problem would be solved by bringing a new metroid right now. – Same goes for StarFox, F-Zero and all those ‘forgotten’ nintendo franchises. It’s what the internet fans want but it’s definitely not what the Wii U needs.-
