I wrote a little message to someone in the gaming media and community.

I'll leave the name out, but this is what I wrote:

"I was listening to your Show, and you brought up your disdain for people wanting a console (XBOX ONE) to fail.

In general, I very much agree.....

But not this time, and I want you to hear me out and understand why.

As plain as I can put it, XBOX One is ANTI CONSUMER, and while it could be debated otherwise, it's also ANTI GAMER.

I want to be even more plain than that: I HATE the XBOX One. I hate it with passion, as it's a travesty to consumers, and I want it to die. I want it to die with awesome-spectacularity. I want the XBOX One to die the death of the Ancient Romans...Slow and excruciatingly painful.

But in my benevolent mercy.....I only want the XBOX One to die ONCE. Just 1 time.....and ONLY 1 time.

You see, sir, I want the XBONE to be made an example of, to be a reminder to any and everyone who would try these anti consumer policies again in the future. I want to drive home the fear that if these Draconian, anti consumer measures are tried again, the same fate will befall said console.

So yes...please forgive me, but yes.....I want the XBOX One to fail, but not because I'm anti Microsoft or anti console.

I want the XBONE to fail because I'm pro-consumer, and I love gaming. But those 2 aspects aren't and SHOULDN'T be mutually exclusive.

The future of gaming is at stake.
