Didn't we used to boycot Ubisoft and Activision and promised not to buy their games? How did those boycots ended? Did we win?

Gamers are too lazy, too unfocused, too disorganized, and too unfocused, COMBINED with too much in need for new content, to be able to stage any sort of boycott to get companies to change their mind.  Companies FULLY calculate ticking off numbers of people, and making decisions.  They live and die by this, far more than gamers.  So boycotts won't work to change policy.  People CAN vote with their feet, and do what is best for them.  Beyond this though?

Well, there is petitioning to GET content in a market (Project Rainfall) which seem to work though.
