Minus the "Kinect Always On" thing. That's not true and misleading. It is off/disabled. It only listens for one command in order to turn it back on (which makes perfect sense). I'm sure most of my friends would not be bothered by the internet requirement because they all use the internet throughout their homes constantly already. The ones I would recommend the Xbox One to are the ones I already play with online on Xbox 360 or PS3 or PC. If I knew they lived in the country with no broadband access and no smartphone with 3G/4G access, I wouldn't recommend the Xbox One to them (unless MS gives gamers a choice like the OP suggests). |
