I'm also surprised people are comparing Steam (PC) to Xbox One or at least using it as an example to defend Xbox One - does this mean all the arguments used for "Exclusive on Xbox" such as Left 4 Dead (even though its on PC), does that mean none of those arguments are valid now?

Im not defending Xbox One.

Xbox One is VERY similar to Steam. That is an unarguable fact.

It is similar because of the DRM and always online (one form or another - for steam its like a few weeks while for XBOX ONE so far confirmed once a day).

No used games.

---

Which is no different than online passes I think that they had on PS3 (not 100% sure if they had this if anyone can confirm).

But what other features does it make it similar to Steam?

Basically the entire way it runs games? What about the gaming side of it isnt like Steam?
