I don't see the big issue with QTE's as long as they are used correctly. QTE's in Bayonetta? Horrible. Came out of no where, failure force you to restart from the last checkpoint, and adversely affected your ending score due to instant death from failing the QTE. Metal Gear Rising? Other than the odd "mash this to survive", I loved those QTE's. Ripping out spines, initiating Blade mode finisher, and executing instant blade mode. Those QTE's added to the interactivity of the game.

However, I know that the majority utterly detest QTE's no matter how they are used.



They can't be stopped...
