Sorry but nintendo's gaming market is different from the one Sony is in and different from the one that the big publishers are in. When it comes to platformers and kids games 3rd party makes sure to make a wii version and market it for the wii. The wii u is for people who want to play nintendo franchise games plus some 3rd party on the side. If publishers feel that making a wii u version of a game is a waste of time and money then whats it to you? The wii u is also weak and would be the lowest denominator when games move purely to next gen. UE 4 is a nextgen graphics engine which the wii u just won't be able to hande. Hopefully Nintendo realizes that next gen they have to accept making bigger losses on their hardware so they can sell a machine that is comparable to what the future wants.

On a side note: yes, WiiU could handle UE4. It all boils down to wether they optimize it for the WiiU (Which they won't; that's the whole point of this thread and the other one) in order to make it functional or they don't.

"we have Unreal Engine 3 for the Wii U. Right? And Unreal Engine 3 is powering all kinds of amazing games, still lots of games are being made with Unreal Engine 3. We announced today about a new Unreal Engine 3 license. Unreal Engine 3 doesn't disappear because of Unreal Engine 4. But our goal for Unreal Engine 4 console-wise is next-gen consoles. That's really what our energies are focused on. If you want to make a Wii U game, we have Unreal Engine 3, and it's powering some of the best games on the Wii U already."

The wii u can not handle what ue4 is being aimed for. But I can say that ea are a bunch of pricks for not including bf4 for the wii u. IfThe Wii U is atleast 50% more powerful than the ps360 which frostbite 3 supports so why not make the game for the wii u as well? EA is just butthurt. Atleast ubisoft is supporting the wii u with watch dogs.

Ea is butthurt, yes xDDDD That's why no Battlefield on WiiU.

Ubisoft...meh. They do good things and bad things to the Nintendo brand whenever they feel like. An example would be Rayman Legends; but yeah, at least they're supporting it with Watch Dogs.

And I didn't say that UE4 was more aimed to Ps4 and whatever Microsoft will bring to the table. What I meant is that, yes, UE4 can fit into the WiiU, with good results if done properly. The point is, they don't want to waste time doing so; instead they'll left WiiU with UE3.

EA is butthurt  that Nintendo canned their plans for origin on the wii u. Remember when ea claimed their full on support for the wii u?
