So am I the only person who thinks Microsoft are throwing money at publishers so they withhold from revealing more PS4 titles ahead of the New Xbox's reveal. Specifically I'm refering to Battlefield 4 and MSGV.

Both games are obviously targeted for higher end systems then PS3/360. BF4 for PS4 has been leaked by some Dice employees who seemingly didn't get the memo, alongside Gamestop.

Metal Gear solid 5 is currently being run on PC, yet no PC version has been announced. No surprise as the franchise has never been on that platform, but it is more or less confirmation that what we saw is likely  a next gen version of the game (in spite of the very current gen/lowres fire effects seen in the gameplay demo)

The intention on Microsofts side of thing would be to limit the momentum the PS4 gains before the new Xbox is annouced. Already games  like Watchdogs are being advertise on youtube videos as PS4 titles (even though its multiplat), and likes of Witcher 3 are being tauted as a PC, PS4 title, which is strengthening the playstation brand but dimishing to microsofts. Of course developers cannot out the new xbox so must either alude to it through the generic "coming to next gen consoleS" or skip is inclusion altogether leaving games to look like ps4 exclusives (next-gen consoles exclusive). Neither is helpful but they can at least stop the PS4 from being mentioned.

Random thought: There were rumours about a EA/Microsoft partnership, which also reinforce my beliefs. With all the talk regarding the new xbox being always online and blocking used game, who would be surprised if the worlds biggest publisher was actually the driving force behind this. They  are after all, the ones would be would benefit most from blocking used games.
