1. I'm not bellyaching because they aren't second party (even though that's yet to be seen) the game looks boring and it's the general consensus everywhere I look. 2. Insomniac PAX time slot is titled: “Fuse: The Sleeper Hit of 2013” they are looking for it to be a big hit 3. It's not straight forward. Everything I read (even from Insomniac themselves) this game is too difficult because they AI isn't smart enough and the game relies heavily on co-op communication 4. This probably has a bigger budget than Haze lol |
1. How is that not determined, and how is your saying what you said not proving my point. Second parties develop exclusively for a particular platform, or brand of platforms. The fact that they aren't do that now is proof they are third party. No further proof is required. Obviously you cannot even deal with the reality of what happened.
2. The 239th rule of acquisition comes to mind. Never be afraid to mislabel a product. What do you expect them to say. Our modest game that we expect to make modest sales from. Everyone oversells their products. That is just how the game is played. Show me the company that is dismissive of their product before they even launch it.
3. Strange I have been looking in on the game from time to time, and would you like to know what I found out about the game. Next to nothing. It looks like a simple old school shooter. Do you think it doesn't look like a old school shooter. That group of games is pretty straight forward. Do tell me how this isn't a blast from the past. While you are at it tell me how it cannot sell by being exactly that. You may not like it, but a lot of people have a fondness for such things.
4. Ohh such a cutting wit you have. Seriously you are arguing that these games are basically the same. If what you are saying is true then the development costs have gone down. No progress means the developers aren't being taxed as they were at the beginning of the generation. They now have years of experience. So that cuts down on trial and error. Plus they have better middle ware at their disposal. Please explain how their being conservative has caused the costs to go up.
5. By the way it has almost zero chance of selling worse then Haze, because it is selling on two platforms. With much larger install bases. It doesn't have to sell gang busters to outsell Haze. They are probably likely to turn a profit, because while it probably wont be the best game on the market. It probably wont be among the worst either.
