ms isn't dying atm but there is potential as the market is change a lot in into direction ms isn't leading in. basically, ms owns traditional computers but phones and tablets are taking over the world. it's not that ms doesn't have any presence but that apple/google are the top two in both words. that puts ms into the number 3 slot with is "dying" relative to their number 1 slot only 5 or so years back.
also, i test drove window's 8 and i hated it.
