Naughty Dog wants to change the industry by rising above the 'idiot plot'

They already have done so with Uncharted to be honest. A lot of games that i have seen/played after Uncharted 2 especially have elements borrowed from the series. Just take a good look at the trailers and gameplay videos for the new Lara Croft game or Dead Space 2 and 3's cinematic moments among others.
